Before you cross
the wires.

The short answers about what the lab can study, what it builds, what “verified” means and why some creatures do not survive.

What is ReaFuse?

ReaFuse is a public software-fusion laboratory. Give it two apps, repositories or websites; it studies their capabilities, proposes three hybrids, then attempts to build and test the one you select.

What is REA?

REA—Reverse Engineer Anything is the analysis foundation beneath ReaFuse. It helps the lab map observable structure and behavior before the clean-room fusion begins.

Can I fuse any two apps?

You can submit app names, public links or GitHub repositories. A fusion still needs enough accessible evidence to understand both donors. Private systems, unclear names or inaccessible sources may stop at intake.

Does ReaFuse copy the original code?

It is designed not to. ReaFuse studies behavior and capabilities, then writes a fresh implementation. Generated output is checked against donor sources for suspicious shared stretches, comments and distinctive identifiers.

Why do I choose between three concepts?

Two donors rarely have only one useful combination. The choice keeps the human in the circuit and prevents the lab from spending its heaviest generation step on the wrong interpretation.

What does “verified” mean?

It means the generated creature passed the contract tests and originality checks shown on that run. It does not mean the prototype has received a security audit, production hardening or approval for sensitive data.

How long does a fusion take?

Simple stages can finish quickly; code generation and verification take longer and may retry. Provider capacity, donor size and failed tests all affect the duration. The run page shows the actual live stage instead of inventing a fixed countdown.

Why did my creature explode?

Common causes include insufficient donor evidence, generation-provider limits, an invalid build, failed contract tests or an originality violation. The preserved run timeline should identify the stage and failure rather than hiding it.

Can I deploy the output immediately?

Treat it as an inspectable prototype. Review the files, dependencies, tests, donor licenses and security boundaries before deployment. Do not connect unreviewed generated software to production credentials or private data.

Where can I follow development?

Follow @ReaFuseApp on X for public experiments, or inspect the ReaFuse repository on GitHub.
